Supervisors – Kalgoorlie
Kalgoorlie residential only.
Ongoing work on multiple mine sites which require personnel to
- Supervise welding crews (Poly welders, Operators & Pipeline technicians) to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on budget.
- Liaising with client site personnel to identify requirements and deliverables for site works
- Scoping and estimating jobs.
- Plan and schedule site work processes to deliver safe and efficient outcomes
- Perform site safety inspections and run toolbox & safety meetings
- Complete Daily Works Records allocating time and equipment used during the day for client approval.
- Complete and record installation QA, site and safety documentation.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of pumps and piping systems.
- Developing and training personnel to Client Company standards with continuous improvements
- Review pre-start checklists, JHA’s and Take 5’s in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Ensuring personnel are presenting for work in a fit manner, not affected by fatigue, drugs, alcohol.
- Understanding of dewatering and pipework systems associated with the mining industry.
The successful applicant will possess the following requirements:
- 2+ years of Crew Leader experience
- White Card
- Senior First Aid (preferred)
- Confined Space
- Working at Heights
- Load restraint
- Operators Tickets
- Telescopic Handler Certification
- Excavator Certification
- Skid Steer Certification
- Chainsaw Operation
- Vehicle Loading Crane
- High Risk License – Forklift – Dogging & Rigging – EWP
- Lab Drug & Alcohol Test <3 months
- National Police Clearance <6 Months
- Current WA driver’s licence – LR or higher
- PMBWELDS01A – Butt Weld Polyethylene Plastic Pipelines & PMBWELDS02B – Electro fusion Weld Polyethylene Pipelines
- Supervisor’s training – Section 26
- Resume – with specified experience
