Key responsibilities:
- Tyre fitting & Replacement
- Tyre repair/ addressing, assessing and repair/ replace
- Wheel balancing & Alignment
- Tyre Diagnostics / inspecting & recommending actions
- Customer Service
- Inventory Management
- Workshop Maintenance
- Operating equipment – using air driven equipment / tyre changers / wheel balancing machines and any other specialised tools
Skills & Qualifications:
- Practical Skills – Mechanical minded & hands on experience
- Technical knowledge – Understanding tyre types/ sizes/ pressures and wheel alignment
- Problem solving – Ability to diagnose and resolve
- Physical Stamina – Ability to lift & handle heavy objects
- Attention to detail
- Safety Awareness
- Formal Qualifications. while not always required a Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology or similar can be beneficial
